100% Renewable Electricity for UW Bothell

Did you know that UW Bothell uses 100% renewable electricity? In addition to generating electricity on campus from our solar arrays, UW Bothell is proud to be one of 41 customers in Puget Sound Energy’s Green Direct Program. This program allows customers to purchase up to 100% of their electricity from dedicated, local, renewable sources!

As a campus, we are committed to creating a cleaner energy future and reducing carbon emissions, which is why we are excited to join in the announcement of the completion of the Lund Hill Solar Project. Located in Klickitat County, WA, this Project is the largest solar installation in Washington State! Lund Hill joins the Skookumchuck Wind Energy Facility as the second Green Direct energy source, diversifying the mix of resources providing UW Bothell with 100% renewable electricity and reducing our carbon emissions.
